About the event

Come & explore with a professional walking guide the area which sits directly under the border of England & Wales. This beautiful and dramatic part of the country is full of historic buildings, sacred stones, and ancient lanes and footpaths crossing moorland, farmland, and stunning small brooks and rivers.

This route takes us through a stately home's grounds, gives us a chance to visit Longtown Castle, & peep inside one of the most isolated and stunning tiny churches in Herefordshire which holds some hidden historic gems!

Although not a mountain route, its a hilly one with plenty to get your legs into at 10 miles.

We always walk at a steady pace with plenty of time to look at the views, eat our packed lunches and chat etc!
