Celebrate St David’s Day with a truly Welsh countryside walk in the heart of the Brecon Beacons! This scenic 5-mile circular route from Llangynidr village offers a gentle pace along quiet lanes, the Brecon to Monmouth canal, and beautiful woodland paths. We’ll wander through the charming historic part of the village, with its cozy cottages and ancient church, taking in spectacular views of the surrounding hills and mountains.
In honor of Welsh heritage, feel free to wear a daffodil as we walk—an emblem of pride on this special day! Afterward, join us in one of the welcoming village pubs for a Welsh pint to toast St David.
