About the event
Come with us & be led by a professional walk leader Alistair up onto the border of England & Wales in the Black Mountains. We follow the long-distance path the Offas Dyke from the small village of Pandy in Monmouthshire all the way over a high ridge, eventually dropping down into the valley where we finish in the 'Town of books' Hay on Wye in the Bannau Brycheiniog national park. Its 15 miles of hopefully exhilarating views and mountain terrain. We will walk at a steady pace with plenty of time for looking at the views and lunch!
If you are relatively new to mountain walking, this might be a great opportunity to give it a try as you will have the support and safety of an experienced walk leader.
* £5 of your walk ticket price will be donated to the local Longtown Mountain resuce team who volunteer to keep us all safe up in the mountains*
(Transport from Hay to Pandy at the start of the day is included in the price of your ticket)
