Llanthony Priory to Cwmyoy's 'leaning church'
A 8 mile guided walk in a remote stunning valley flanked by mountains. It's a valley route, but don't be fooled, there are plenty of hills as well! Lots of history with breath-taking views, this route is a real gem!

About the event
A circular walk from Llanthony Priory. We walk following the bottom of the moorland and the fields/woods just below. We circle the valley soaking up the beautiful & peaceful green landscape. There will be time to look inside the amazing church at the village of Cwmyoy half way round, & then upon finishing the walk, time to visit the ruins of the 900 year old priory before you leave.
This walk is a medium grade, but if you are of a reasonable fitness level, you should be fine. We always walk at a steady pace, with plenty of time to stop, rest & look at the scenery. No one gets left behind, and everyone is assisted over stiles and any tricky terrain by the walk leader.
This walk will be one of the summer walking highlights this year, so don't miss it!
