About the event
Join us for an evening walk through the breathtaking landscapes of Brechfa Pool and Common, set high above the Wye Valley near Llyswen.
This peaceful circular route takes in stunning open moorland, where wild ponies sometimes graze, and offers far-reaching views stretching across the Wye Valley to the Brecon Beacons beyond.
We’ll walk gradually up onto the common, making the most of the soft summer light, before descending via a quiet green lane into a hidden valley. From there, a gentle bridleway climb brings us back to our starting point, completing a beautiful and varied evening route.
🌿 Distance: Approx. 3.5 – 4.5 miles
🌿 Pace: Easy and relaxed, with plenty of time to soak in the surroundings
