A 4 mile guided circular walk taking in Cusop village's beautiful church where Richard Booth, 'The King of Hay' is buried, then explore the motte & Bailey castle on top of a hill over looking Hay-on-Wye, the world's first 'town of books'!

About the event
Starting in Hay-on-Wye, we stroll across fields on part of the Offas Dyke footpath to Cusop village where we walk through the churchyard of St Mary's which is mentioned in the famous Kilvert's diaries. Then we climb slowy up using pretty lanes to a small hilltop covered in a woodland which holds a secret motte & bailey castle inside! We then wander downhill back to Hay-onWye with a greats views of the town and a peak at the majestc Hay Bluff mountain above. Come & see the history & enjoy the fresh air on an evening adventure!
A professionally guided walk taken at a steady pace with assistance over stiles etc.
