About the event
A walk 3.5-mile circular guided route starting at Llangasty village hall. We walk our way gradually up using part of a Roman road reaching a small rocky outcrop on the top where you can eat your well-deserved packed supper! On the top, we find not only remains of an Iron Age hill fort, but some of the best views of the Brecon Beacons, including Pen-y-Fan, and also views the other side of Llangorse fresh-water lake and the Black Mountains! We then turn downhill through glorious woodland and fields back to the start.
What's not to love? History & views galore! Come with us & soak up this scenery on an evening adventure!
These walks are great for those who want to make sure they get out on foot making the most of the summer, but perhaps don't necessarily want to tackle the mountains.
Each route is prepared and led by a qualified walk leader who will assist people over any stiles/tricky terrain, and will also make sure things are taken at an easy pace with no one being left at the back all the time!
Everyone is very friendly, so if you are coming on your own, with a friend, or bringing your family group, it should be fun!
