About the event

Come & enjoy the evening light with us as we walk together from a tiny village called Aberedw with its motte & bailey castle and church set on the banks of the small river Edw. We cross the river and walk up through woodland which is strewn with large rocks creating a magic setting to find a fascinating cave with a very special Welsh Royal legend attached to it.

At only 3 miles, this walk is short. There is a hill as we climb up a track to visit the cave and then we get to a moorland edge before walking back down another lane. It's nothing we can't handle together though, with plenty of time to catch your breath!

These walks are great for those who want to make sure they get out on foot making the most of the summer, but perhaps don't necessarily want to tackle the mountains. Bring your supper to eat once we find a nice view!

Each route is prepared and led by a qualified walk leader who will assist people over any stiles/tricky terrain, and will also make sure things are taken at an easy pace with no one being left at the back all the time!

Everyone is very friendly, so if you are coming on your own, with a friend, or bringing your family group, it should be fun!
