About the event
Join us for a scenic evening walk from the heart of Brecon, exploring the beautiful countryside that surrounds this historic market town. This circular route takes in ancient Iron Age forts, rolling green landscapes, and the tranquil waters of the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal—a perfect way to experience the area in the soft evening light.
This walk will be led by Julie Bell, a qualified and experienced walking leader, Executive Director of Brecon Beacons Tourism, and a Gold Ambassador for the Brecon Beacons National Park (Bannau Brycheiniog).

Julie has a wealth of knowledge about the history, heritage, and tourism of the area and will share fascinating insights into the landscape, wildlife, and historic sites along the way. It’s also a great opportunity to hear about the latest developments in the National Park and the wider region.
The walk will be taken at an easy, relaxed pace, with plenty of time to enjoy the stunning views…
