Meet your Walk Leader

Sarah Price Walk Leader
Sarah in Black Mountains

I have been taking friends & family on walks for 12 years now ever since I arrived here in Hay-on-Wye after marrying a local farmer's son. I realised that this was my passion, and that perhaps I could pass on my love of walking in this beautiful place to others, as a job. 'Walk Hay' as a business was born after retraining as a walk leader and qualifying in outdoor first aid. I was previously, in a former life, a personal trainer & so also have experience in coaching and motivating others.

I enjoy introducing children to the countryside, & have 2 kids of my own, although one is now at university.

I find the history of the area here fascinating too, & love to tell others the interesting facts and stories about the landscape.

I enjoy meeting new people & can't wait to get to know you all & show you the wonderful countryside in this special part of the world.
